Tottenham had the best defense in the Premier League in the last campaign under the management of Argentine boss Mauricio Pochettino.
As far as the central defense is concerned, the likes of Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Dier were brilliant at the back. Moreover, Wimmer also impressed big time whenever given the chance.
Now, if reports in the media are anything to go by then the North Londoners are looking to sign another central defender by hiring the services of Argentine international and Estudientes player Juan Foyth.
According to an exclusive report covered by CalcioMercato, the 19-year-old center half has decided to sign for Tottenham and he has already agreed terms in principle with the Premier League side.
The Italian source have mentioned that former Manchester United player Juan Sebastian Veron, who works for the South American club, will travel to London on Friday to finalize the deal with Daniel Levy.
CalcioMercato have also reported that Estudiantes are looking to get 10 million euros ($11.4million) from the sale of the youngster, who broke into the first team last season. (Image: Getty)
