Deal Close – Play Breaker to Join Manchester United

Jose Mourinho does not have a quality defensive midfielder in his team and he must splash the cash to sign one.
The Portuguese boss sold Morgan Schneiderlin in the winter transfer window and did not replace him. Michael Carrick can play effectively in the DM role but he is mainly a deep lying playmaker and not really a play breaker.
Moreover, the veteran midfielder is past his best and will not be starting regularly next season. If reports in the media are anything to go by then United are on the verge of signing a young French DM.
According to renowned French source L’Equipe, 16-year-old defensive midfielder Aliou Badara Traoré is very close to signing a three year deal with Manchester United.

The teenage starlet has played seven times for the Under-16 national side and scored two goals.
Back in the month of February, the youngster was invited by the Red Devils and he scored a goal for their academy side in a 7-0 victory vs Burnley. Traore is considered a future captain of France by many in his homeland (The Sun).
Aliou must be talented but he will surely not get into the first team anytime soon and therefore, Mourinho needs to sign a proven quality holding midfield star in the summer transfer window to reinforce his team.
