Manchester United are constantly linked with top quality stars like James Rodriguez and Antoine Griezmann. The latest transfer reports look positive for the Red Devils.
Few days back, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that the British giants have agreed terms of contract for the Colombian international with his agent Jorge Mendes, who is also the representative of Jose Mourinho.
Now, according to ESPN, Real Madrid are ready to sell Rodriguez in the summer transfer window and have offered him to (none other than) Manchester United.
The ex Porto playmaker can play in any attacking position and currently, he is in his peak years. Therefore, signing him could prove to be fruitful for the Old Trafford club, who need to reinforce their offense in the summer transfer window.
In the presence of star attackers like Ronaldo and Bale, James has found himself warming the bench more often than not. The dilemma is that Zidane has even preferred the likes of Marco Asensio and Isco ahead of Rodriguez.
Even after limited starts, James’ stats have been quite impressive. So far, he has only started 19 times in all competitions for Los Blancos this season and still managed to directly contribute in no fewer than 24 goals (11 goals and 13 assists).
The 25-year-old star’s current deal with Madrid will end in 2020 and he is earning (Star) £185,000-a-week ($240,000-a-week). United will probably have to increase his wages to secure his signature.
Like ESPN, Daily Mail also claim that Real have offered James to United but they have also stated that Griezmann is Mouirnho’s No.1 transfer target.
