Deal Close – Liverpool to Agree $39million Star Signing

Liverpool need to sort out their defense in the summer transfer window or else they will not be challenging for big prizes next season.
Their back line has been shaky all season long and Klopp is looking to sign a consistent center half to strengthen the department. Not to forget, the German boss lured center backs like Matip and Klavan last summer.
According to Mirror, the Reds are closing in on a deal to hire the services of Michael Keane from Burnley. The 24-year-old star has been in fantastic form for the Clarets this season and has attracted interest from top clubs.
The former Manchester United player is wanted by the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham (Telegraph) as well and he is rated (Metro) around 30 million pounds ($39million).
However, as per the provided Mirror link, Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the England international and look to seal his signing by paying Burnley 25 million pounds.
Keane’s current contract with Burnley will expire at the end of next season, therefore, the above mentioned fee should be considered very high.
This season, Michael has featured in 35 Premier League games for Burnley, scored 2 goals and also provided an assist. Mirror have also stated that Keane is expected to sign a four year contract with the Merseysiders if they qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
At the moment, the Reds are third in the table and will ensure CL qualification if they win their remaining (2) PL games. In your opinion, is Keane good enough to reinforce Jurgen’s back line?
