Pochettino Clear to Agree $37million Star Signing for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are back in the title race after Chelsea’s defeat against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
If City defeat the Blues in the midweek contest and Spurs win their game vs Swansea then difference between the top two teams will only be four points.
The North Londoners have been fantastic in the Premier league but they need more depth and quality to challenge the best of teams in Europe’s elite competition.
Spurs failed big time in the Champions League this season, moreover, they were ousted from the Europa League at the first hurdle as well. Therefore, Pochettino is looking to reinforce his squad and once again Wilfried Zaha is in the limelight.
The Argentine boss is a long term admirer of the versatile attacking midfielder and tried to sign him last summer as well. Now, Mauricio has the chance to finally sign Zaha, because he wants to leave the club this summer and join a big team.
According to reports (The Sun), the 24-year-old Ivorian international will reject a new deal with Crystal Palace so that he can move to a top PL club and Tottenham are ready to secure his signature.
Zaha has been influential for the Eagles this season and was brilliant at the weekend against the league leaders. He scored one goal and set up the other for Benteke to earn all three points at Stamford Bridge.
Overall, the former Manchester United playmaker has featured in 26 league games, scored 6 goals and also provided 9 assists.
Zaha’s current contract with Palace will expire in 2020 and he is going to be expensive. Last month, Mirror claimed that Spurs are confident of signing Wilfried, who is rated around 30 million pounds ($37million).
