Not Griezmann – Man Utd Ready to Agree €450,000-a-week Signing with Star

After spending heavy cash last summer, United should have challenged for the title this season but their campaign has been quite average.
The Red Devils are currently 6th in the table and will collide against league leaders Chelsea at Old Trafford today.
As far as the transfers are concerned, Mourinho must reinforce the quality of his squad in the summer transfer window and more importantly, the former Chelsea boss must hold on to his key players.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been Man United’s best player this season. The retired Swedish international has netted 28 goals and provided 10 assists in 44 outings for United.
Reports indicate that the Red Devils are prepared to do whatever possible to keep the superstar striker at Old Trafford for next season.
According to Mirror, Manchester United are ready to match all the global offers to hold on to Ibra. the report says that they are ready to sign a contract that will make him earn £20million-a-year (€450,000-a-week next season).
The former Barcelona striker will turn 36 in October but he has not shown any signs of slowing down as yet and deserves a new bumper deal. In your opinion, should United pay Zlatan £20million-a-year to extend his stay?

We need young shap striker. Forget ibra. He has offered all he has. Next season he will be a flop, just watch and see.

  5. Joe Cox says:

Ibra has been great for Utd but i do think we need someone more mobile so NO he’s not worth that amount of money.

  6. Derek Hattersley says:

That money could be spent better elsewhere with a more mobile player. The chances he has missed are the ones being forgotten. It is only because he has had the opportunities to score that he has 28 he has missed many many more that should have been put away. If he had had 28 chances and scored 28 goals you could justify that expenditure but he has not. I do see a very good manager in him though when he retires.
