Zlatan Starts – Man Utd's Strongest Possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Rostov

Reigning FA Cup champions, Manchester United will not be able to retain their title after getting knocked out in the quarter final of this season’s competition by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho’s Man United team have so far failed to score a single goal against the Blues in two games this season and Jose is no more special at the Stamford Bridge.
Next up, the Old Trafford club will collide against Russian side Rostov in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 16 tie. In the first leg, the Red Devils were able to score a crucial away goal and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Mourinho absolutely slammed the the state of Rostov pitch (The Sun) and claimed that his side could not have played any better on that field (Man Utd Official).
At Old Trafford, United should hold stronger cards in the second leg and should be considered favorites to qualify for the quarter finals of the competition.
As far as the team news is concerned, the likes of Anthony Martial, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Wayne Rooney are injured at the moment for the Red Devils. The skipper have a slight chance of returning for the game (PhysioRoom).
The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo are suspended for the next two games in the domestic competitions but are available for the game against Rostov. Eric Bailly missed the first leg due to suspension and he should make his return to the starting XI in the Europa League for Man United.
Fans looking to earn apart from betting can get themselves entertained and make cash by trying some pokies, if not, then various betting sites could surely help.
In the absence of French attacker Martial, Marcus Rashford may start on the left hand side of the attack for Mourinho. The young English starlet started as the lone center forward against Chelsea because Zlatan was out.
Juan Mata will probably return to the starting XI in place of Ashley Young. The Spaniard should partner Mkhitaryan and Rashford behind Ibra.
Herrera was sent off in the first half against Chelsea and will not be available at the weekend vs Middlesbrough. He might partner Pogba again in the center of the park,
As far as the defense is concerned, the likes of Rojo, Bailly, Smalling and Valencia should start in the back line in front of Argentine goalie Sergio Romero, who has only conceded one goal in six Europa League appearances this season.
Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Rostov.

I would start with De Gea , given the importance of the match. ….Around the hour mark, if we are in comfortable position , replace him with Romero .

  2. Romero deserves the nod. He’s also in form and he needs playing time.
    De Gea needs to rest.

  3. Walataa says:

Romero deserve to play his also in good form for now………..De gea need rest please

We did not play particularly well in the first leg. Though the pitch wasn’t good, but we could have done better than what we saw. We’ll miss Martial, he remains our best on the left wing for now.
All the same we’ll qualify for quarter final.

  5. Excellent Larry A says:

Romero has been doing marvelously in europa cup, he should remain in between the sticks as long as he is fit.

  6. EPHRAIM says:

Nice back four ( Rojo, Bailly, Smalling, Valencia)
    Midfielders ( Fellaini, Carrick, Mata)
    Attackers ( Rashford, Ibrahimovic, Young)
Herrera & Pogba are taking us for joke let dem know that they are not above MUFC its annoying how they mess up every important match we go to win. esp him Pogba let him be bench pls
