Not Gotze – Liverpool Can Finally Agree $25million Star Signing

Liverpool have two inconsistent goalkeepers in their squad and Jurgen Klopp must solve the dilemma by signing a top goalie next summer.
England international and Manchester City star Joe Hart has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for quite some time. Last summer, Pep Guardiola opted to loan out Hart (to Torino) and lured Claudio Bravo to replace him.
Last month, we covered a report (via Mirror) claiming that the 29-year-old star has told his friends that he wants to join the Reds.
Not so long ago, reports in the media (Express via ClubCall) suggested that City are not willing to sell Joe to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea. If the latest reports are anything to go by then the Merseysiders can finally agree his signing.
According to The Times, contrary to suggestions, the four time PL Golden Glove winner is free to join the PL rivals in the summer and Pep wants over 20 million pounds ($25million) for him.
Not to forget, Liverpool have also opened talks to sign $25million rated German international Mario Gotze (via Mirror).
Hart has featured in 25 games in all competitions for the Serie A side this season and kept only six clean sheets. In the past two seasons, even Joe proved to be inconsistent and that is the reason Pep got rid of him.
In your opinion, is Joe Hart good enough to solve Liverpool’s goalkeeping conundrum?

I think Hart would do well for Liverpool but my concern is the fee €20M- €25M is a lot of money and are there better Goalkeepers at better Value available ? If we could get Hart for less then the €20M then why not as he’s used to the premiership and could start off as the No1 straight away .

What I can’t understand is why all the figures mentioned are in US dollars. What’s the USA got to do with it ?

I don’t believe Joe Hart would be a capable shot stopper or why would Guardiola move him out. Liverpool has to be careful that we don’t sign other club’s flop. We need a keeper like Pepe Reina and Joe Hart is not.

Watching Hart preform in Seria A lately, he makes the same mistakes as our keepers and just as regularly as our current keepers. Sign him and we will be looking for another keeper in January ’18, and €20 million lighter.
Want the NEXT Gotze and Reus. Thought that was part of the reason we brought Klopp in, to find and develop young talent. Yes we need some veterans, just not Gotze.

lets stick with our goalkeeper and go for a top inform striker that’s gona do what they get paid for ( scoring goals)

Mario Gotzes world cup winning goal is his only claim to fame please LFC I implore you DO NOT BUY HIM ,he is like vanilla ice (rapper) a one hit wonder Mao

I still think Hart is a decent Keeper. What he has over our keepers is a much more commanding presence, better organiser of the defence and very vocal. Our back 5 are as quiet as mice and bit too nice lacking aggression. Hart needs a move I think that could galvanise back his career. He would also add some leadership and experience of winning titles which can only be a good thing.
Not many other options unless we went all out for a real top GK like Oblak but would Athletico part ways? Not for a reasonable fee I’m sure. Otherwise there’s a couple in Germany like Leno & Horn but they ate the same age as Karius so would they do any better? Butland looks good but did have a massive injury and then could he make the step up? Stoke won’t let him go on the cheap!
It’s not just a new keeper but also we need 2 new centre backs and a left back to complete our defence. Matip is our best, Lovren is inconsistent but would keep him as our 4th choice unless Sakho can resolve things in the summer I would keep him, Klavan has to go. I would try and bring in Van Dijk and either Laporte or J.Tah. Left back I would love to see R.Rodriguez come. 4 players that means just to sort out our defence then you need 3 or 4 players to strengthen the other positions. Certainly a top DM is crucial as well cause we only have Lucas and hes no Makelele/Mascherano/Kante who were the best at protected the defence, sniffing out danger so great at anticipating, aggressive on the ball and could keep possession. Good news is there’s another player who meets those attributes and in a similar league. W.Carvalho who has done well for Sporting but was awesome at the Euros. He’s also a good passer of the ball and does a lot of running which fits well in a team like ours or Spurs.
The question is this should be our most expensive transfer window BUT will the owners dig deep into their pockets??? They should considering our Net spend has been quite low because we made quite a few big sales.
