Man Utd Look to Finally Agree £346,000-a-week Star Signing

Manchester United broke the transfer record to sign Paul Pogba last summer. Now, reports suggest that they are once again interested in Toni Kroos. The Red Devils will surely have to splash heavy cash if they are to lure the German international.

The Old Trafford club were interested in signing the former Bayern Munich midfielder when Moyes was in charge of the club. The player even agreed to join United, however, the appointment of Louis van Gaal scuppered the deal (Express).

Now, according to the Independent, Man United are willing to finally sign Kroos next summer but the Los Blancos would not want to lose one of their prized assets.

Man Utd legend Paul Scholes recently claimed that Toni will be perfect for the club: He stated (Football 365 via Kicker)

“When I came to the end of my career, I watched him closely and tried to play like Kroos.”

“I was a rather forward-looking midfielder, but Toni is the best in the world, and Kroos would be perfect next to Pogba and Ander Herrera at United.”

The 27-year-old Kaiser is one of the most complete midfielders in the world and will largely improve Man United’s midfield. He signed a new deal with the reigning European Champions last year and earns around £346,000-a-week (BBC via AS).

This season, in 30 appearances, Kroos has scored 2 goals and provided 12 assists for Real Madrid. As per the provided Independent link, United want to sign a world class star and their priority is Griezmann, however, his signature is doubtful and that is why they are now focusing on Kroos as well.

In your opinion, should United sign Griezmann or Kroos?

    Griezmann

  2. ALFRED says:

Man utd can still survive without Antoine , but Toni Kroos would be the most ideal to fill the gap that would be left by Carrick. One more could be a central defender along with Bailey will make the team strong, to go to greater heights.

    kroos is the answer

  4. Trevor says:

If we had been given 2 good managers after fergie left we would have had Kronos. He was expecting to
Come to United but Moyes being the top manager that he is overlooked everybody for Fellaini
Then we got VanGaal who was worse. He sold one of our best forwards for peanuts and then payed twice
as much with double the wages for a poser Depay. Also if Va Gaal or his staff had an ounce of football
knowledge as to who was a good player they would have snatch Deli Ali when Utd played MKD

  5. Trevor says:

The best. forward I was referring to was Welbeck

  6. manjaleo says:

we need Griezmann more than we need Kroos, though kroos is a complete player but griezmann will make our attack look more deadly….. There is more possibility that Man utd will land on Griezmann rather than Kroos, Real can’t afford to loose him and two he won’t go cheaper than Griezmann, Real will name a huge amount that will chase united off the deal….. glory glory Man United.

  7. Nyeko Robert says:

It’s Better To Have Lots Of Stars So Both Griezman And Kroos Can Possibly Join United So As To Boost Up The Competition

  8. Walataa says:

Toni kroos his the answer not Griezmann will have alot of strikers thank yoi

  9. Auwal dollars says:

if possible why can’t you land both the two (kross and griezmann), since united has no financial problem.
