Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool must adequately strengthen their team next summer if they are to be more consistent under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds badly need a strong defensive midfielder for a long time. At the moment, there is no quality play breaker in the squad.
According to reports going on in the media, the Merseysiders are linked with a Spanish international in the form of West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang (The Sun).
The former Sampdoria player is versatile talent, who can effectively be utilized as a central and defensive midfielder. This season, the Hammers have mainly played him in the defensive midfield position.
In 18 league appearances (26 in all competitions), Obiang has scored one goal and also provided one assist.
Pedro has been impressive for Slaven Bilic’s team and that has attracted interest from Anfield. As per the provided Sun link, Klopp has been impressed by Obiang’s form and Liverpool will have to splash a fee of 18 million pounds ($22million) to get his signing done next summer.
Is Pedro Obiang good enough to provide a solid cover in front of Liverpool’s defense?

Without a Doubt we must bring in a DM but surely he needs to be top quality !! and to be truthful I don’t know lots about Obiang since he’s been at West ham but I expected someone of the likes Carvalho to be bidding on especially as it looked like he was available in January and this is a position that we have needed to be filled for a very long time.
But in Klopp I trust and he knows the players he Wants/Needs to play the system that he wants us to play but all I will say is we do need players who can play as a starter straight away and not so many of the young up and coming mould of player !!!
