Done – Liverpool have Agreed €37million Deal

After a long wait, Liverpool finally announced yesterday, that Adam Lallana has signed a new deal with the club.
The 28-year-old England international is going to spend his peak years with the Merseysiders after securing a new deal that will keep him at the Anfield club until 2021.
Adam Lallana joined the Reds when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the club but he failed to shine under the Northern Irish manager.
The former Southampton captain has been able to show his best form under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
The German manager has provided Lallana with the freedom to operate in the midfield and in the attacking third. In such a scenario, he has excelled big time. He has directly contributed in 14 goals (7 goals and 7 assists) in the Premier League this season.
After signing the deal, Lallana claimed that he is at the right place and expects to achieve great things with the club.

“We have a brilliant squad of players who are only going to get better the longer we are together. We have a world-class manager and coaching staff.”
“And because it’s Liverpool there is that added X-factor of the supporters and what success would mean to them when we achieve it here. I’m just delighted that I’m going to be part of it for even longer.”

According to Daily Mail, Adam’s new deal will make him earn £150,000-a-week, £31.2milion (€37million) in four years.

  1. RED PHIL says:

Five top players (Lallana, Mane, Clyne, Coutinho and Firmino) and the rest are not good enough to win the title. Throwing huge amounts of money at the five top players may keep them happy but it sure as Hell ain’t gonna win us the title . . . whereas getting rid of Mignolet, Moreno, Lucas, Lovren, Sakho, Stewart, Sturridge and Origi and finding far better replacements just might.
Please, no more headlines about more great deals for LFC unless it involves TOP players coming in and the dross going out.
