The North Londoners will play Preston away from home in the third round of the competition and should be considered favorites to qualify for the next round.

As far as the team news is concerned, at the moment, seven players are out injured for the the Gunners, however, Wenger has still got a strong squad at his disposal to overcome the challenge of Preston.

Expect Ospina to return to the starting XI in place of first choice goalie Petr Cech. Maitland-Niles should start in the right back position. The likes of Holding and Gabriel may return to the starting XI as well.

Reine-Adelaide should get the nod to start in the attack. He might start with Chamberlain and Iwobi behind Lucas Perez.
