Wenger Moves in to Agree $34million Signing, Complete Star Wants Arsenal Move

Arsenal have an overcrowded central midfield with players like Elneny, Coquelin, Xhaka, Ramsey and even Cazorla (injured) around.
Still, Arsene Wenger is looking to sign another midfielder particularly to replace Santi and Bosnian star Miralem Pjanic is in the limelight.
If reports in the media are anything to go by (The Sun) then Wenger has moved in and called the 26-year-old Juventus star himself asking about a move to the Emirates. Pjanic’s response has been positive and he is looking to secure an agreement to join the North Londoners.
The former Roma star is a complete midfielder who can play anywhere in the center of the park. He is mainly a creative central/attacking midfielder and has effectively played as a strong DM as well.
Pjanic left Rome to join Italian champions Juventus in the summer transfer window and he has been performing brilliantly as well.
In 20 appearances, Miralem has directly contributed in 14 goals (6 goals and 8 assists). Moreover, as expected, the Old Lady are currently the Serie A league leaders.
Therefore, it is surprising that he wants to move to Arsenal. As per the provided Sun link, it is highly unlikely that Pjanic will leave this month but the Gunners are set to make an offer of 28million pounds ($34million) to agree his signing.
Pjanic is one of the best midfielders in the world who will largely improve Arsenal but Juve lured him to replace Paul Pogba and selling him after just half a season does not make any sense.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.

The fm is going round in cirlces. Arsenal are lopsided in md.
He would do well to get rid of some of these guys. Furthermore his pass and
pass aint going to work. Look at Pool. They are going by route 1 and getting results.
His style is more suited to the slower leagues in Spain/Italy and Germany.
In the epl, speed is one of the elements and that’s why he hasn’t won the epl since 2004.

Wenger hmmm…. i don’t know why he likes buying short and feeble players when the likes of Nzonzi and many stronger players could be available

  3. Andrew Inno says:

Wenger as to put into consideration height and weight when buying players……comparing Arsenal of the Henry’s time…….EPL is so physical…..most games Arsenal has either lost or drawn is because lack of physic

  4. Malaysian gunner says:

I agree with Andrew. The epl is the most physicla league in Europe,if not the world.
We have far too many shorties compared to other teams. This is because Wenger wants to play ballet soccer.
Furthermore Wenger’s tactics are far too predictable especially in attack. Its too slow and one dimensional.
This is due to his over obsession with possession.
That’s why they were 3 down to Bm and were lucky not to have lost.
Regardless of whether he wins the epl, surely at some point in time he shd go. 20 years at
at any top club is too long.Nowdays at any top clu,3 to 5 years is the most for any manager
especially for someone who hasn’t won the league.
