£140,000-a-week Star Ready to Agree Liverpool Move

Liverpool Pass West Ham Test Without SuarezSince the departure of Pepe Reina from Anfield, Liverpool have failed to find a single goal keeper who could perform consistently well without any bloopers.

Brendan Rodgers signed Simon Mignolet and he has been highly inconsistent from day one. The Belgian international is a good shot stopper but his decision making has cost Liverpool a lot of points.

Jurgen Klopp wanted to solve the dilemma last summer and signed Loris Karis but the German goalie has been terrible so far. His blunders cost the Reds crucial points against Bournemouth and West Ham.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has recently recalled Mignolet who has performed well. Since his return, the Merseysiders have kept three clean sheets in four PL games, only conceded one goal (vs Stoke City).

The German manager must sign an experienced goalie to sort out the problem once and for all and the Reds want Man City star (on loan with Torino) Joe Hart (via Mirror).

Hart earns £140,000-a-week Telegraph and has been performing okay for the Italia Serie A club. Torino are currently 8th in the league.

The good news for Liverpool is that the 29-year-old England international is now keen on agreeing a summer move to Anfield (Mirror). Hart wants to return to England and has told his friends that he would like to join the Reds.

Is Joe Hart good enough to solve Klopp’s goalkeeping problems? Should Liverpool pay his high wages?

Forget Joe Hart..Mignolet has been doing well lately, atleast he has been fantastic lately and his confidence on the ball has grown too..klopp should look for a strong and experienced defensive midfielder like N’golo Kante to bring stability on our defence…

dude what we want is perfection, Joe Hart is by far better than two of our keepers, that alone gives a lot of assurances, the move for him is okay but you are right, we need to strengthen the midfield defensively too…

  2. DHankin says:

Couldn’t do any worse than other two we should at least be equal with Chelsea

  3. kaziro says:

I do not think that’s high pay. Hart is a man Liverpool needs may be the title next season.
Get him quickly before another club takes him.

  4. RED PHIL says:

Mignolet has been responsible for one goal, so far, with the Stoke goal being save-able, and looked slightly dodgy having a keepy-uppy game with Aguero, against City, but he is never going to be reliable as that isn’t in his game. I was brought-up on Ray Clemence and hardly saw him make a mistake in his time at Anfield. We MUST find a keeper we can rely on and Hart would be an improvement.
Sorry, I just cannot imagine Mignolet or Karius being error free in this life or the next.

  5. Ross says:

I have always maintained that the goalkeepers are not the problem at Liverpool. It is the goalkeeping coach that need to be replaced. It’s not a coincidence that the demise of our goalkeepers began when Brendan Rogers introduced his new staff, of which the goalkeeping coach still (mind bogglingly) remains.

Liverpool are looking to address the wrong postion. It’s hardly rocket science!

  6. pete turley says:

sell mignolet and karius, get hart and bring back danny ward… simple!

  7. Guy says:

Klopp wants a keeper that is good with the ball at his feet. This is why Pep let Hart go on loan, not good with the ball at his feet. Reds do not need to take other premier league teams second/third choices.

  8. odiwell says:

I believe you guys spoke well but we need him joo because we never have a standard goal keeper at a big club like us don’t need management keeper see man u keeper is one of the thing that save them so we need him for experience remember champions league, but we need defense no replacement for clyn no good left back no good replacement for our 5and 6 milner is doing well but we need good left back
