Star Looking to Agree €18million-a-year Chelsea Deal

Chelsea are flying high in the Premier League and that would not have been possible without star striker Diego Costa who is their top scorer with 14 goals.
The Spanish international has been in unstoppable form for the Blues but recently a big money offer from China has turned his head (Sky Sports).
As per the provided Sky link, Italian boss Antonio Conte is expected to hold talks with the former Atletico Madrid center forward today and will be hoping to convince him to stay.
Costa is now looking to agree a new contract that will make him earn £300,000-a-week, £15.6million-a-year (€18million-a-year). The mentioned wages are enormous without a shadow of a doubt still, they do not match the offer from China who are ready to pay £30million-a-year (Sky Sports).
Currently, Eden Hazard is the top earner at Stamford Bridge with a salary of £200,000-a-week. Costa does deserve a new deal but definitely not worth £300,000-a-week.
In all fairness, Chelsea should look to accept the offer of 80 million pounds (Independent) from Tianjin Quanjian but only next summer so the Blues can then replace the 28-year-old star. The mentioned fee should be enough to sign a world class goalscorer.

Pliz let Costa go to China or back to Spain this month. If a player wants to go let him go. If you force him to stay he will NOT perform 100% for you. He will try to discourage you so that you will let him go. There are more strikers in the world who wants to play for Chelsea. Even with our current squad, we have a number of players who can play as strikers like Batshuayi, Pedro, Lotus-Cheek and Moses. pliz do not force players to play for you, they will play zero for you.

You are rather stupid for actually believing that Costa will be leaving. He had an injury in his spine and didn’t train for the whole of last week and Conte saw that it wasn’t worth risking him to play due to him being injury prone as well as him not being totally ready for the game.

l I find it crazy in every transfer window papers talk about chelsea players leaving why not other teans like man utd liverpool and may be arsenal. Its those crazy talks which distabilize out squard .costa should stay. Let chelsea look for enforcements like james, verati, bring cristesen back and may be mark antonio as back up for moses. Let players like ruben, aina.zuma move out for alone. Its madness to let costa go because of paper talks and romurs.

  2. Diego must be allowed to go if all efforts to convince him failed. After all, that £80m can buy a world class striker.
