Man Utd Close – How Mourinho will Line up with £50million Star

Jose Mourinho splashed heavy cash to hire the services of Eric Bailly for Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Ivorian international has proved to be injury prone so far and has already missed ten games for the Red Devils this season. Currently, he is out with a knee injury.
Moreover, United have not been solid at the back and have conceded 17 goals in 17 league games this season. In such a scenario, Mourinho is looking to sign a new center half who will lead the back line for the Old Trafford club.
According to the recent reports, Manchester United have closed in on signing a new CB by making a huge offer of 38 million pounds (via Mirror) to sign Benfica star Victor Lindelof next month. The report says that the Swedish international will have a release clause of 30 million pounds next summer.
Earlier this month, Daily Record reported that the Portuguese giants want around £50million for their prized asset knowing that replacing him will not be easy in the middle of the season.
Lindelof has featured in 21 games for the Primeira Liga champions this season. His preferred foot is right and hence, he normally starts on the right side of the central defense. At the moment, Phil Jones starts in that position for the Red Devils.
Expect Lindelof to replace the England international and partner Argentine Marcos Rojo in the central defense for United.
Here is how Mourinho will line up with Lindelof if he does end up moving to Old Trafford.
