4-2-3-1: Wenger Must Start Arsenal XI to Dismantle Basel

Arsenal FCArsenal ripped West Ham United apart at the weekend. Star playmaker Alexis Sanchez was in brilliant form as he scored a hat-trick to earn all three points for the Gunners.

The likes of Liverpool and Man City lost their respective games and now the North Londoners have moved back to the second place in the Barclays Premier League, three points behind league leaders Chelsea.

Next up, Wenger’s men will face Basel in the Champions League hoping to earn top spot in the group. For that to happen, PSG must drop points on Tuesday night. Arsenal defeated the Swiss side back in September, 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Who will come out on top this time around.

Wenger will likely make a few changes in the starting XI that played vs the Hammers but it must still be good enough to defeat Basel.

Star striker Giroud will be available for the fixture and should replace Alexis to start as the lone forward up front. The likes of Ramsey, Iwoibi, Elneny, Gibbs and Ospina may return to the starting XI as well.

Here is the Arsenal XI that Wenger must start to dismantle Basel.
