Who will Replace Jose Mourinho at Manchester United?

Jose MourinhoSince joining Porto, Jose Mourinho has won the league title with every club that he has managed so far.
The Portuguese boss left the Primeira Liga to join Chelsea in 2004 and won two league titles in his first reign at Stamford Bridge.
He left the Blues to join Inter, won two Serie A titles and also won the famous treble in 2010. Mourinho then left for Real Madrid and won his only La Liga title in 2012. He is the only manager to have won the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga titles.
Jose’s latest league triumph came two seasons ago with Chelsea during his second reign. Now, Manchester United fans surely expect Mou to continue this brilliant record at Old Trafford. However, things are not looking good at the moment.
United are 8 points behind league leaders Liverpool. It seems highly unlikely that they will win the title this season because there is just too much traffic in front of them and the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, City and Arsenal are playing much better football.
Jose is still not sure about his best XI and all his big money signings have so far failed to live up to the very high expectations. If the league woes were not enough then United have been average in the Europa League as well. After four games, they are third in the group and European elimination will be a huge setback.
United’s management are surely going to give him time but if the situation deteriorates further then it will not come as a surprise if Jose is shown the exit door. The so called “Special One” has been average for over a year now and his style of football has not worked at all.
The question is, who will replace Mourinho if he is sacked? The dilemma is that no top manager is available in the market at the moment. Ancelotti, Guardiola and Conte are doing good so far in their debut seasons with Bayern, City and Chelsea respectively.
Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc was linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer. The French manager ended his playing career with Manchester United and a move for him may make sense. However, Blanc never faced much competition in Ligue 1 and the scenario is completely different in the Premier League.
The best possible appointment will that be of Diego Simeone. The Argentine is one of the best managers in the world and can sort out the mess at Old Trafford. Again, will he look to leave his much beloved Atletico Madrid to join the Red Devils?
Should United sack Mourinho if he fails to finish in the top four after spending so heavily?

It looks like the inevitability is about to happen to Jose, he has proved that he is no better than Vangaal, who had a much better statistics. It is not only statistics, but for the club to go down in the history of EPL its a shame, even Old Trafford games have become a drab. Even young players do not have so much skill, or the speed to recover the ball. Someone like Diego is worth investing, for he can surely turn around.

Monriho need time to build his team and some little speculation never. We have good quality player, ignore logic the tactic is outdated he has to set back and work on his player and believed he can still make it, will be a big mes to him if he looses this chance. But too my own understanding the forward is really sluggish to my liking some one like depay no.7 am seeing great in him shouldn’t be sold anywhere he need to work harder in nearest future he be great like eden harzad of chelsea. Need Balle no.11 of real mad in that forward. Blind is not strong enough look for more defender. Our mid-field is OK for now pobga, schertiger, herriera are in form fellani lost his possition I mean lost in field. Carrick is OK with pogba replace by fuso. Need some like fenadinho or fenaldo very aggressive need marehz of liechester.

@ Alfred: Van Gaal was worse… LVG spent 250million on players and for the 2 seasons he had, ManUtd had to settle for an FA cup; really??? It’s we fans that are the ones ruining the club at times. When Mou was to be hired, most were saying he’d ruin the youth system. Now, he’s using the youths to please y’all and you’re calling for his sack. That’s terrible. If Mou were to have his way, his signings won’t be youths as he’d go for accomplished players who he’d utilize to play at the top. Take a look at his first season when he rejoined Chelsea, he recalled Courtois, signed Costa, Fabregas, resigned Matic etc and these were players he used to win both the premier league and EFL cup then not youths that we clamor for and how many of the top teams we see at the top of the table now are using youths to achieve their results? We should be sincere and know that it’s some fans and the media who had caused this from the beginning. So, we expect him to cruise to the top with some declining or not-so-quality players added with youth and to be blended with 4 accomplished players? Wonder how that’s gonna work. He has to sort out the probs and mess first and all he can do is manage for now till he can get some players of his own preference. The youths can be integrated slowly. He’s pleased the fans and we don’t have a right to call for his sack rather try to support him and make the players wake up every time to really play to the worth of champions and not losers…

Jose is doing a wonderful job at Man u.It is step by step to get to the top considering that Man U had declined dismally the past years. To build a competitive team needs time and understanding of players individually. I feel he is luck with those early defeats and injuries as this is giving all players opportunity to show their characters than having false impression from few players. This is good for screening wheat from chaff and remain with suitable players. Its unfortunately that as supporters we keep on referring to Ferguson’s era not appreciating that neither Fergie is Mou nor Mou is Fergie. They are different characters with different ways of getting the best from players.Like what Mou said culture has to be changed all corners of the club to bring back winning mentality in the squad. There is a great hope of reviving the best performances of the club.
