8 Games 9 Goals/Assists – Winger Agrees Liverpool Deal

The Reds have been performing brilliantly and that statement is not only true for the first XI but also for the substitutes and the youngsters who have proved to be fruitful when given the chance.
Today, the Merseysiders have confirmed (Liverpool FC) that three players in the form of Kevin Stewart (Defensive Midfielder), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Fullback) and Ben Woodburn (Left Winger) have agreed new deals with the club.
Welsh international Ben Woodburn is the youngest of the above mentioned trio and arguably the most exciting young talent if the recent performances are taken into consideration.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder impressed under Klopp during the pre-season and he has been brilliant for the U-23 side.
In eight league appearances, Woodburn has already directly contributed in 9 goals (four goals and five assists). Praising the youngster, the German boss claimed:

“Ben is in those earlier stages and has a lot of developing to do still – but wow, what an exciting talent he is.”
