Klopp Ready to Finally Agree Versatile Star Signing – $32.5million Move Eyed

Liverpool FCLiverpool adequately improved the quality of their attacking midfield in the summer transfer window by signing a top player in the form of Sadio Mane.
Moreover, the Merseysiders also lured a versatile attacking midfielder in the form of Wijnaldum but Klopp is mainly utilizing him in the central midfield.
The German manager wants to further amplify the quality of his squad and wants to sign Mahmoud Dahoud from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Reds were interested in signing the young German international in the summer transfer window as well but the 20-year-old versatile star eventually stayed with his club.
However, according to the latest reports (Daily Express), Klopp is ready to finally sign Dahoud and is preparing a mammoth move of 25 million pounds ($32.5million) to secure his signature in the winter transfer window.
Mahmoud can play effectively in multiple positions in the central and attacking midfield. Last season, he scored 5 goals and provided 9 assists in 27 league starts for Borussia Monchengladbach.
In all fairness, Klopp must focus on improving the back line and the strike-force in the winter transfer window.

No doubt a good signing, if we get him, but when Spurs have got Wanyama, Dier and Dembele for the DM
position(s) and we are still trying to see if Henderson, alone, can fit the bill – despite several very average attempts so far prior to a couple of relatively improved games in his last two appearances – I think I’d prefer us to get a recognised and specialist DM before we get yet another attacking midfielder. If we are going to have problems this year it will be defensively so common sense dictates that you look at known weaknesses first AND YOU FIX THEM before solving problems that don’t exist!
Still waiting to see what this Grujic can do but if Dahoud is as good as Mr Klopp says then perhaps we should get him? Surprisingly, he’s got more clout with the owners than I’ve got . . .
