Liverpool already have more than a few versatile midfielders in their squad such as the likes of Emre Can, James Milner, Marko Grujic and Jordan Henderson.
Moreover, manager Jurgen Klopp has utilized new summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum in the central midfield as well. In such a scenario, the Reds should not sign another midfielder this summer.
However, according to reports (Daily Star via Gazzetta World), Liverpool have reignited interest in signing Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic and are keen on hiring his services.
The 23-year-old Croatian international is a versatile star who can play anywhere in the center/attacking midfield. Marcelo has even played as a winger. Last season, Brozovic scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists in 35 games for the Nerazzurri.
As per the provided Daily Star link, after the departure of manager Roberto Mancini, Brozovic may follow suit and he can be lured for a fee of 25 million pounds ($33million).
In all fairness, Liverpool have enough midfielders and if they really have funds to spend then they must splash the cash to sign a new left back and a top striker before the transfer window closes.

El Ghazi possibly but not another bloody midfielder I’ve never heard of and when we’ve already got seven or eight players for that spot whilst not having one striker likely to last more than fifteen games per season, when we are screaming for a specialist defensive midfielder and when our LB could be replaced quite adequately by positioning an industrial skip (full or empty) to the left of our centre backs!
If we get this new Italian guy I’m gonna be asking if Mr Klopp has private health insurance because, in my opinion, he needs psychiatric help for this obsession he has with signing attacking midfielders. I might give BUPA a ring on his behalf . . .
