Klopp Ready to Agree $33.5million Star Signing for Liverpool

Wijnaldum NUFCLiverpool manager Jurgen Klopp completed his first signing for the Reds last winter by luring a versatile midfielder in the form of Marko Grujic.
This summer, the German manager has lured Wijnaldum from Newcastle United and has mainly played him in the central midfield during the pre-season.
Now, reports suggest that the former Borussia Dortmund boss is looking to sign another midfielder in the form of Mahmoud Dahoud.
Back in April, Guardian reported that Liverpool are interested in signing the €30million ($33.5million) rated Borussia Monchengladbach star.
Renowned source SportBild have now claimed that Klopp is ready to seal the signing by paying the above mentioned fee for the 20-year-old Kaiser. Bild also claim that the German international can be lured for a fee of just €10million next summer.
Dahoud can play anywhere in the midfield and can also be utilized effectively in the attacking third as well.
Last season, the youngster featured in 32 league games for the Bundesliga side, scored 5 goals and also provided 9 assists. (Picture: Getty)

  1. RED PHIL says:

If we are working on the theory that if we have every midfielder in the known world so nobody else can field a decent midfield then, yes, go get him, but if we are living in the REAL world we seem to be more in need of a defensive midfielder, a LB and a striker capable of playing in more than 20 games per year.
Almost certainly a superb player but if we are to get him shouldn’t we have done that before buying several other players for more-or-less the same position? And with all these new midfielders are we finally going to get rid of one or two of the ones who have been here for a while? I see that Lucas is still here, Milner is being looked upon as a fall-back full-back (how stupid is that?) and Henderson is still, after several years, failing to make me think he is LFC material.
When those three go I’ll begin to feel optimistic but not until then! Until then we are overloaded with midfielders . . .
