Jurgen Klopp Ready to Agree £51million Star Signing

Liverpool FCLiverpool are once again linked with a move to sign highly rated Portuguese international Joao Mario from Primeira Liga side Sporting CP.
Not so long ago, we reported that the Reds were interested in signing the versatile playmaker before the start of the European Championships and are no longer looking to secure his signature now.
However, the latest reports in the media suggest that the Merseysiders are still looking to lure the Euro 2016 winner.
Sport Witness cite reports in the Portuguese media claiming that after failing with a €40million move, Klopp is still thinking of finding a way to agree the signing of Mario.
Last season, Mario featured in forty five games for Sporting CP and directly contributed in nineteen goals (7 goals and 12 assists). Joao is mainly a right winger but he can effectively play in the central midfield as well.
As per the provided Sport Witness link, the 23-year-old star has a release clause of €60million (£51million) in his contract and the Reds will probably have to match that sum to hire his services.

Complete and utter bull . Why on earth would we pay huge money for a player that plays in the same position as mane ???or as a secondary roll play where Henderson , wijnaldum ,Milner, Lucas and can play . I wouldn’t of thought we’d spend £50 mill and play him in his secondary roll position anyway . Basically if be extremely surprised if this transfer happened

it will be great if Liverpool cf can sign Mario to the club and I will be very happy for that.please klopp should not delay for his signature

£51m is too much for Mario once we have mane in that same position,we need left full back urgently to replace Moreno.

I’d love Liverpool to do business like this, but we need a striker capable of 25 goals per season and a defender and left back, we could buy hector for 22 million and a half tidy forward for 28 million. So I don’t see klopp spending big on yet another midfielder. But football is a funny business, and I don’t think with the signings we have made thus far, we have any intentions of defending. It seems all out attack in a variety of formations is the best form of defence. More like whatever they score, we’ll score more tactic.
