Terms Agreed – How Arsenal will Line up with £84million Stars

Arsenal FCIf reports in the media are anything to go by then Arsenal have agreed personal terms to sign two top quality players.
The stars in discussion are Alexandre Lacazette and Riyad Mahrez. According to French source Le10Sport, the North Londoners have agreed terms with the Lyon striker.
On the other hand, reports in the Algerian media (Daily Star via Le Buteur) have suggested that the Leicester City superstar has agreed a deal to move to Arsenal.
Lacazette scored 21 league goals last season and was the top scorer in the French league two seasons ago. Mahrez deservedly won the PFA Player of the Year award after scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists for the Foxes last season.
Both stars are rated around 42 million pounds (Mirror) (Independent) and will largely amplify the quality of Arsenal’s attack if they do end up moving to the Emirates.
Mahrez will most likely line up with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the attacking midfield. Lacazette should replace compatriot Olivier Giroud in in the starting XI. Here is how Arsenal will line up with Lacazette and Mahrez.

Like the look of that team. If Arsenal can line up like that and stay injury free. We stand a very good chance of winning the League. Come on Wenger. Just get it over and done with.

  2. grimes says:

Wow !! With this line up, Arsenal will be unbeatable. Not only the Gunners will be a hit in PL and win the title but they will also have a great chance to bring the CL. The moment I say without any arrogance: Manu, mancity, Chelsea and all other contenders will suffer against such a gunners armada. Yes Wenger, just do it!!!

  3. Timan Mathew says:

If truly this rumours are true and Wenger does the right selection of first eleven, and also make right decisions when making substitution, premier league and champions league is ours this season

  4. Simon says:

Like the look of that, but really think lacazette would be better as back up to giroud who for me will really hit his stride in the coming season. I would also have Cazorla in place of Sanchez, Wilshere in place of Ramsey, Theo/ox in place of mahrez. Maybe iwobi/Campbell in place of ozil and definitely coq in place of xhaka. Finally maybe give Gibbs another chance at left back. Then I think we have a winning team. Mahrez can be an impact player along with alexis and ozil comming off the bench….plus bonus is buying him weakens our rivals. Come on you gooners!!
Also wondering it might be prudent to sell kosielny now while he still has some value! Time for Chamber to step up which I believe he can do!

  5. Mohammed Hussen says:

PLZ !! AW do this soon to run over mouriniho.

  6. paul 35mm says:

    Peter Cech
Nacho Monreal, Lauren Koscielny, Gabriel Paulista, Hector Bellerin
    Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla
    Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Mahrez
    Olivier Giroud
Looking at the Arsenal midfield, it is hard to see a place for Mahrez. He’s a good player, without question, but Arsenal don’t really need him. The midfield is choked with good players who will struggle for minutes. Chamberlain, Walcott, Cambell, Iwobi, Ramsey, Wilshire, Cazorla, and Elneny are all players who need time in the midfield in addition to Xhaka, Sanchez, Ozil, and potentially, Mahrez. His arrival would almost certainly put paid to the Arsenal careers of either Theo Walcott or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, if not both.
If Lacazette arrives he might play ion the left or right to spell Sanchez or Mahrez, or in the middle as a reserve to Giroud. If Mahrez and Lacazette started it would signal a major departure in attacking strategy for Arsenal, who use Giroud play off as they move forward then use Ozil’s passing to unlock defenses.

  7. Ogban says:

Throw in Mustafi for Gabriel and let me dream. Please don’t wake up me ???

  8. Bismark says:

Guys no chance, AW will never listen. Until he leaves the club nothing better is go a change in our transfer.
I wish we have such a line up to meet Liverpool but I don’t see it happening. Lets just keep dreaming hopefully our dream will come through one day.
