Manchester United have been trying to sign Juventus and France star Paul Pogba for a long time and now it is safe to say that the transfer saga has finally concluded and the versatile midfielder will soon complete his Old Trafford return.
An hour before the Community Shield contest, the Red Devils confirmed on their official website that the 23-year-old superstar has been granted the permission to have a medical and complete his Man United move.
Manchester United defeated Leicester City 2-1 to thanks to a late goal from new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. After the game, Jose Mourinho confirmed Pogba move by claiming “Finally, we have him” (Mirror).
According to renowned Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, United have agreed a mammoth deal worth €145million and the move could be officially announced tomorrow.
The move is perhaps done and dusted and it will not come as any surprise if Pogba makes it into the squad to play against Bournemouth in the opening PL game.
