Deal Close – Wenger to Get Fourth Arsenal Signing Done in Days

Arsene Wenger ArsenalArsenal have been looking to sign a proven quality goalscorer ever since Dutch striker Robin van Persie left the Gunners in 2012.
The North Londoners can forget about winning the Premier League title next season if they do not sign someone who can score at least 20 league goals.
One top striker heavily linked with a move to the Emirates is Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette. The Ligue 1 club have already rejected an offer from Arsenal but the Gunners are not giving up on signing him.
The 25-year-old Les Bleus center forward scored 21 goals in 34 league games for the French side last season. If reports are anything to go by then Arsenal are close to securing Alexandre’s signature and the deal will be done in days.
According to Football Pundit Tony Cascarino (Squawka via Sky), Lacazette will join Arsenal by the end of this week. He claimed:

“I’ve got a few people in France who really believe that this deal will go through by the end of this week coming.”
“By the next transfer window (program on Sky Sports) next weekend that deal will be done, I’m sure.”

Arsenal have already signed three players this summer in the form of Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
Lacazette is set to become Wenger’s fourth key signing of the summer for Arsenal. He will most likely replace Giroud in the starting XI.
