After losing their first pre-season game of the summer against Chelsea in the International Champions Cup. Liverpool will be looking to bounce back when they face seven time European Champions AC Milan next.
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, summer signing Loris Karius is out injured with a broken bone and will return to full fitness in about six to ten weeks. In his absence, Belgian star Simon Mignolet should start in goal vs the Rossoneri.
Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum did not play against the Blues but he will probably be in the starting XI vs AC Milan. The former Newcastle United star may line up in a three man midfield formation with captain Jordan Henderson and Kevin Stewart.
As far as the attack is concerned, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho should start behind Roberto Firmino who will probably play as the lone striker up front.
Here is Liverpool’s probable 4-3-3 XI vs AC Milan.
