After getting relegated from the Premier League last season, Newcastle Untied seem destined to lose all their key players in this summer’s transfer window.
Last summer, the Magpies secured the signing of Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum from PSV Eindhoven and the 25-year-old star proved to be a massive hit in England.
Last season, the versatile Netherlands midfielder featured in 38 Premier League games for Newcastle United and directly contributed in 16 goals (11 goals and 5 assists).
Tottenham are interested in hiring the services of Wijanldum this summer but they are not ready to meet his asking price of 25 million pounds ($33 million). In such a scenario, the Dutch star is ready to beg Newcastle to let him agree a move with the North London club (Express via Mirror).
Mauricio Pochettino has already secured two key signings for Spurs this summer by luring stars like Victor Wanyama (Southampton) and Vincent Janssen (AZ Alkmaar).
