Arsene Ready to Finally Get $40million Star Signing Done for Arsenal

Arsenal FCArsenal have already reinforced their midfield by signing a top Swiss star in the form of Granit Xhaka. Moreover, the Gunners have also strengthened their strike-force by luring Japanese center forward Takuma Asano.
The North Londoners must bring in quality players to improve the attacking midfield and the defense as well if they are to have any chance of winning the league title next season under the management of Arsene Wenger.
As far as the defense is concerned, the French boss must sell and replace veteran defender Per Mertesacker. According to reports, Roma’s $40million rated (The Sun) center half Kostas Manolas is in the limelight.
Arsenal were interested in signing the Greek international back in 2014 as well and if the latest reports are anything to go by then Wenger is ready to finally secure the services of the 25-year-old star this summer.
According to Italian source Gazzetta dello Sport, Manolas currently earns €1.5m-a-year and Arsenal are willing to offer Kostas a deal that will make him earn €4m annually.
Last season, the former AEK Athens defender featured in 45 games in all competitions for the Giallorossi.
