Tottenham Ready to Agree Key Star Deal

Mauricio Pochettino - Still Not Fully ConvincedLast summer, Mauricio Pochettino adequately reinforced the quality of his squad by mainly improving the defense and the attacking midfield departments.
This summer, the Argentine boss has so far reinforced his midfield by signing Wanyama and the strike-force by luring Janssen. The former Southampton manager still needs to add more quality stars if he is to have any chance of winning the PL title next season.
More importantly, Pochettino must also hold onto the key stars who were brilliant for the club last season. According to reports (Daily Mirror), Tottenham are ready to agree a new deal with English left back Danny Rose.
Last season, the 26-year-old star featured in 24 Premier League games for the North Londoners, scored a goal and also provided 4 assists. Tottenham had the best defense last season (conceded 35 league goals) and Danny Rose was a key member of the back line.
The Three Lions star deservedly made it into the PFA Team of the Year for his top performances in the last campaign. As per the provided Mirror link, Rose currently earns £35,000-a-week and Spurs are ready to hand him a huge pay rise.

  1. Surely, all our first team squad should be on similar wages depending on number of games played.
There can can always be bonus payments to increase wages such as goals scored by forwards goals against target by defenders etc. Not to mention league position.
All this keep everyone happy and those trying to get into the first team squad will try harder.
The biggest trouble Spurs players have is Mr Levy he is always trying to cut corners.

    • Matt says:

You say cut corners when everyone in the game considers him the best negotiator in the world he gets more for less than anyone and there is a reason we can afford a new facility that will rival any in the world you all write rubbish about him yet love to reap the benefits if his “cutting of corners”

      • feeing says:

you say Levy gets more for less but he also has probably lost out on players we need so many times it’s ridiculous.

  2. Realistic says:

I wonder how many of the Levy bashers have maxed out credit cards and other huge debt load. I’m grateful they spend the time here and not sitting in 11 Downing Street.
