Set for PL Return – The Idea of Arsenal Signing Robin van Persie

Ex-Gunner Robing Van PersieIn 2011-12 season, Robin van Persie topped the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League after scoring 30 goals for Arsenal.
However, the Dutch international left the Gunners to join rivals Manchester United and won the title in 2012-13 under the management of Alex Ferguson.
There was a time Arsenal supporters used to love Van Persie. Since his departure from the Emirates, the fans absolutely hate him.
Reports in the media (Eurosport) suggest that the former Feyenoord striker is set to return to the Premier League. The idea of Arsenal re-signing their former captain is surely intriguing.
Robin van Persie PFA 2012 AwardThe fact is that Arsene Wenger has never been able to repalce the 32-year-old center forward. Since he left, no Arsenal player has been able to score 20+ goals in a Premier League season. Therefore, the Gunners are looking for a proven quality striker this summer.
Van Persie started 20 league games for Turkish club Fenerbahce last season and directly contributed in 19 goals (16 goals and 3 assists). Technically, he is still a better striker than Arsenal’s current main man Olivier Giroud.
At his age, Robin may not cover a lot of ground but he is still a clinical finisher and can form a brilliant combination in the attack with the support of world class playmakers like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
In your opinion, should Arsenal re-sign Robin van Persie?

Yes, re-sign Robin van Persie. He is still a class to reckon with. Give him a second chance and let us move on with the difficulty of securing the services of another striker. Wenger is not ready to spend money for quality players….we must learn from the current Pogba experience!

I dont know how true is that, but it will be a fantastic rejoining only if Mr. Arsen will swallow his pride and cool his hot head for me VP is still better and sharper than our current strikers in front of goal, arsenal would have won the league last season if Robin van Persie were there.
I dont see him coming back to arsenal
