Manchester United have signed three top players this summer but it will not come as any surprise if a star player leaves Old Trafford as well under the management of Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss sold Juan Mata from Chelsea when the Spaniard was their reigning Player of the Year. The former Valencia attacker does not fit in Mourinho’s system but he might still be useful.
The one Man United star Mourinho must sell this summer is German international Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Jose needs a dynamic midfielder in his squad and Schweni is past his best. He featured in 31 games last season, scored one goal and provided 2 assists.
Moreover, the World Cup winner’s fitness is a major concern as well. He only played 18 league games last season for the Red Devils and missed 17 fixtures due to injury.
On the other hand, United have players like Schneiderlin, Herrera, Carrick and Fellaini in the midfield and they are also looking to sign Pogba. In such a scenario, the former Bayern Munich star may find himself on the bench more often than not. Therefore, a move away from Old Trafford would benefit the 31-year-old midfielder.

It absolutely amazes me how everyone forgets that Daley Blind speciality is defensive midfield and in my opinion better than any other defensive midfielder united has, it was only van Gaal annoying habit of playing everyone out of their natural position saw Blind diverted to CB, where he did really well. I would love to see him back in DM mode with Pogba next to him but i don’t think that will happen as Mouriniho is looking at Fellani for that role. I pray Blind and Mata is still with us for the coming season.
I fully agree with Steve. I would sell Young, Fellaini and Rooney.
