Few days back, reports in the media suggested that Liverpool are keen on hiring the services of €25m rated ($27.7 million) Marcelo Brozovic from Italian Serie A side Inter Milan (Sport Witness via La Gazzetta Dello Sport).
The versatile Croatian star can play effectively in the central midfield, defensive midfield and also in the attacking midfield.
Last season, in 32 league appearances for the Nerazzurri, he mainly played in the central midfield role for the Nerazzurri, scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists. Overall, the 23-year-old star played 35 games and directly contributed in 12 goals (7 goals and 5 assists).
If Jurgen Klopp can somehow lure Brozovic in the summer transfer window then the Croat will most likely replace captain Jordan Henderson in Liverpool’s starting XI.
