Liverpool supporters will be absolutely furious if Arsenal can somehow secure the signing of one of their top transfer targets, Mario Gotze.
The Reds have been heavily linked with the German international this summer. However, if reports are anything to go by then Wenger wants to seal the signing of the World Cup winner from Bayern Munich.
According to reports (The Sun), Arsenal are lining up a mammoth $38million move to hire the services of the versatile playmaker.
The former Borussia Dortmund star is an “extraordinary” player (Goal) but he mainly warmed the bench under the management of Pep Guardiola at Bayern last season.
The 24-year-old star scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 21 appearances for the Bundesliga champions in the last campaign.
Arsenal already have quality playmakers in the squad like Alexis Sanchez and record signing Mesut Ozil. Gotze’s arrival will further amplify the quality of their attacking midfield.
At the moment, Mario is on international duty at the European Championships. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.

You would take Payet instead of Ozil? Payet is 29-years-old and has only played 21 games for France; there is a reason for this. Ozil is 27 and has played 74 games for Germany, who are the World Cup holders. Not only that, but he has been the German Player of the Year four times. I kn ow who I would choose.
Both Cavani and Higuain? The reason why Cavani was (is) unhappy at PSG is that he had to play out of position due to ibrahimovic. Do you seriously think that either player will join Arsenal and play second fiddle to the other? Competition is good but paying huge amounts of money for the level of friction this would create is assinine.
While Kante had a fantastic season with Leicester, personally I am concerned that he loses the ball too often.
Kante is a better midfielder than Coquelin & his tackles are well timed that he rarely gets a red card. A good centre back & striker are needed. Giroud won’t score many & reliance on him will make us finish 6th .
