Wenger Could Seal "Superb" 232-Goal Star Signing for Arsenal

Kane & VardyArsenal need a proven quality out and out goalscorer this summer, someone who can score 20 plus league goals next season and help the Gunners win the PL title.
There are numerous top strikers currently linked with a move to the North London club. Jamie Vardy’s name has been in the lime light but his move to the Emirates looks highly unlikely.
According to Mirror, if Arsene Wenger fails to lure Vardy, he could look to seal the signing of Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski.
Yesterday, Wenger claimed (Guardian) that Vardy “will stay at Leicester”. Therefore, the French boss must focus on signing some other top striker and there aren’t many better than the above mentioned Polish star.
In the last campaign, Lewandowski scored 42 goals and provided 7 assists in 51 games for the Bundesliga giants. Overall, the 27-year-old former Borussia Dortmund forward has netted 232 goals in his club career (Transfermarkt).
The “superb” (Goal) striker is also linked with a move to Liverpool but will only be interested in joining the Anfield club if they qualify for the Champions League.

One things for certain this guy won’t sign for us not with Wenger in charge so we can forget about that idea.
If Cheque Book Charlie Mourinho wants him even without the offer of the champion league that would be a different matter….We’re already a laughing stock because of the Vardy affair.

I am not sure why Wenger wait for Vardy? Even if he willing to move, Vardy will not fit at Arsenal. His game style is totally different, so he will not be scoring goals as he did for Laister. On the other hand Lavendowski will be a different story. The guy is a goal machine, and he played against many EPL teams and scored, so he will fit just right in. I hope Wenger will not wait for some left-overs, like he often do, to bring in some no use player. I hope Wenger will sign Lavendowski and Sisseko right now and get it done.

Yes, Vardy is a good player, but at 29 years and the cost involved, I don’t think he will be at Arsenal, what we are reading everyday is not what is going to happen, lets wait and see what will happen. As it is we are depending on rumours only, there is no truth of all what we read everyday. Wenger is watching the games at his home country everyday and he is also watching the South America, Copa cup. So do not take anything serous about what you read everyday. it is part of the media. Wenger promised that he lost three players, and he is going to replace them with the other three players. That was the words from Wenger, so lets put our fingers cross and hopefully he will bring in quality like the Swiss guy Granit who is doing well at EUROPEAN CUP in France.

Wenger has only a couple of opportunities to win the league again. We dont need kids or gap fillers, we need top shelf. As AW says himself, they need to add to the quality of the squad. That means quality like Lewandovski or Aubemayang. I dont want to hear garbage like Theo or Akpom are just like new signings.

In time gone by we use Have the best players who wanted to loin arsenal n Manchester united now we have to be begging good player players to join…..we need to start winning trophy so that players will want to come play for us….lewondoski is a high quality player do u think he would want to join a club that Neva changes philosophy???don’t think so nah……

    • Game of Gooner says:

Randall that’s exactly what I tried to get across to some who just can’t see No! this guy will not be joining us that’s for sure for many reasons, yours and mine are just the tip of the iceberg.

I wonder why you people are dreaming good thing for Arsenal in which Wenger himself have never dream.Befor Lewadowski signed for Baryan Munich Wengar has the chance to land him but he was not. So,do you think a good striker like Lewadowski would now want to sign for Arsenal after all the good strikers are rejecting the club do the lack of winning trophy.Any striker who want to play for Arsenal Would player who came from small clubes that want to shows what he can do and come to build his name in Arsenal and later move away to win trophies elswhere. You didn’t link Arsenal to Brimigham City, Dinemo Zagreb, Bolton Wonderes, Lens etc.to link their strikers that will come and wast superb chances created by Ozil or Sanchez to Arsenal You are talking of Lewa. You will know now when Wengar chang gear to say their is no striker better than Giroud in the market again that the fans shoul wait till January windows to open because he his a coach of different excuse in different season.

This summer none serious player will not come to Arsenal, maybe Nolito/ 29 / or a young and hopeless. We can attract serious players only after Wenger leave and we sign with coach as Diego Simeone or Koeman. coaches that will make Arsenal players play right winning football, more direct and power. Whoever wants to beat Arsenal now just doing press and play harder. And done…

  6. VICTOR says:

Lewy to Arsenal is just a wishful thinking, while Vardy to Arsenal may end up being a flop. If not, why has Vardy not been scoring regularly at the Euros where he has no chance to play the counter-attack. Pls try strikers like Nolito, Morata…. Lukaku is even better tested,
