After wasting their time chasing Jamie Vardy, Arsenal must seriously look to sign a top quality goalscorer in the summer transfer window. If reports are anything to go by then the Gunners are doing exactly that.
According to Mirror, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to sign highly rated French and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
In 2014-15, the Les Bleus star scored 27 league goals and was the top scorer in the Ligue 1. Last season, the 25-year-old forward netted 21 times in 34 league games for the French side. So far, Lacazzette has scored 113 goals in his career (Transfermarkt).
Alexandre is a pacy forward and a clinical finisher. Over the past few years, the Lyon star has showcased his goal-scoring talent and Wenger must splash the cash to secure his signature this summer.
As per the provided Mirror link, the likes of West Ham United and Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing the forward who is rated around 45 million pounds. Hence, Arsenal must act fast to hire his services.
