€18m Bid was Made – Liverpool Looking to Seal Quality €23m Star Signing

Liverpool FCDespite spending heavy cash last summer to reinforce their attack, Liverpool still need to add quality attackers if they are to win the title next season under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
There have been reports linking the Reds with numeours attacking players and once again a certain Spanish international is in the lime light in the form of Celta Vigo winger Nolito.
Back in winter, a bid worth €18m was made (Talksport) by Liverpool to sign the 29-year-old star. However, the player eventually stayed with the La Liga side.

Now, according to reports (Mirror), Liverpool are interested in signing Nolito in the summer transfer window and he is rated around €23m by Celta Vigo.
As per the provided Mirror link, the likes of West Ham United and Arsenal are also looking to hire the services of the quality Spaniard.

  1. Ian says:

Too much money for a 29 year old who is an unknown quantity in the English game. The initial offer of $18 million made in the winter is a more accurate figure. If Celts want to hold out for more, then Liverpool need to move on.
