Mourinho wants €100m Superstar Signing for Man United

Jose Mourinho ChelseaManchester United must sign world class players next summer to challenge for the title next season and they are already linked with few big names.
Reports (Sun) have suggested that Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is convinced that he will be joining the Red Devils in the summer transfer window.
On the other hand, Buzzsport claim that Mourinho wants to sign Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain for Manchester United and would be willing to splash a mammoth sum of 100 million Euros to hire his services.

Higuain was a key member of Mourinho’s squad that won the La Liga title with Real Madrid in 2012 and remains one of the best forwards in the world.
This season, the former Los Blancos star has been in brilliant form. In 35 appearances for Napoli, Higuain has directly contributed in no fewer than 31 goals (Transfermarkt).
United have failed to adequately replace Robin van Persie and Higuain can be that man. However, the price tag is surely very high for a 28-year-old striker. In your opinion, should United sign Gonzalo Higuain?

  1. Puneet says:

Higuain not a Premier League material.
    Zaltan is more suitable.

Which rumours are we to believe as supporter of Man United as we hear about Marino while others say Van Gail will finish his contract next year.

  3. ALFRED says:

I don’t think Higuain is worth that kind of investment, majority of man utd well wishers will definitely agree with me on this issue ( 100 million Euros). Moreover his pace has reduced with his age progressing, will be 29 next season and moreover he is not a premier league kind of stuff. With that kind of money man utd can buy better and younger players who could be a better return on the investment in the long run. Utd should think twice to invest that kind of money on ageing players. Hope Utd does not become a team for the aged.

€100 for Higuain? impossible. With all due respect he doesn’t deserve that price tag. And I don’t think the premier league suits him. He better stays put at napoli or maybe go to China

  5. Adekingz says:

€100 is too much for someone like Higuain I think €42 or €45 is okay

  6. Evanlo' says:

Higuain is a selfish player, he’s not needed

  7. Alaske usman says:

He is good and experience player, including him in man utd squard will boast the team sprit

  8. Neil says:

He is a player of great calibre and will dominate in the English Premier League providing the rest of the players are able to adapt to the playing style of the “Chosen One”.
But….lets first get Mo before we get our hopes up of signing big name players
