Tottenham have been looking to reinforce their strike-force for quite some time to provide support and cover for star striker Harry Kane.
If reports (Sky Sports) are anything to by then 19-year-old French international Moussa Dembele had a medical with the North Londoners after Fulham agreed to sell the youngster.
As per the provided Sky Sports link, the center forward is being loaned back to Fulham for the rest of the season and that move makes no sense.
Spurs have more than a few attackers but needed an out and out forward to add depth in the strike-force. Dembele’s arrival sorts that dilemma but loaning him back is a pointless move unless Mauricio Pochettino signs another striker before the transfer window ends tomorrow night.
The Argentine boss has to act swiftly if they are to sign another forward or else Spurs will once again suffer the disappointment like last summer when they failed to lure Berahino.
It must be mentioned that if Harry Kane gets injured, Spurs may find themselves in serious trouble and their brilliant season can be adversely influenced.
