Forget Teixeira – Liverpool have Moved in to Sign Quality Star

Liverpool FCLiverpool have been very serious about signing Shakhtar playmaker Alex Teixeira but if reports are anything to go by, it seems highly unlikely that the Brazilian will move to Anfield this month.

According to reports (Daily Star via Sky Sports), Liverpool have had third bid worth 31 million pounds rejected for the Samba star as the Ukrainian club are only ready to let him leave for 38 million pounds.

According to Talksport sources, Liverpool have moved in with an 18 million Euros offer to sign Arsenal target Nolito. The Celta Vigo star has been in brilliant form.

As per the provided Talksport link, the La Liga side are willing to let Nolito leave in this winter transfer window and both Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to splash the cash to secure his services.

This season, Nolito has netted 8 goals and provided 5 assists in 15 games for Celta Vigo. Capable of playing in various attacking positions, the 29-year-old star can amplify Liverpool’s attack but can they see off competition from a Champions League side like Arsenal? We shall see.
