Arsenal and Liverpool Close to Confirming Winter Signings

BPLArsenal are currently on top of the Premier League with 42 points and Liverpool are no fewer than 12 points behind the league leaders after 20 games.
The Gunners are looking to improve the quality of their squad to continue with the same momentum in the second half of the season and achieve their objective of winning the title.
On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp is looking to reinforce his team to push for a top four place. According to reports (Mirror), Arsenal and Liverpool are busy early on in the January transfer window and are close to confirming winter signings.

Liverpool will perhaps announce the signing of Serbian star Marko Grujic who has completed his medical (Sky Sports) ahead of his 5.1 million pounds move to Anfield from Red Star Belgrade.
Grujic is a versatile star who can play anywhere in the midfield. As far as Arsenal are concerned, they mainly need a defensive midfielder in the absence of injured Coquelin and reports suggest that they are close to signing (Fox via Sky Sports) Basel star Mohamed Elneny to strengthen the department.
Elneny is a strong DM who also provides effective support in the attack as well. The 23-year-old Egyptian star has featured in 28 games this season, scored 6 goals and also provided 2 assists (Transfermarkt).

    Marko Grujic is realy a gud midfielder so had to make him adapt with liverpool team

    Its a shame that the famed Arsenal academy cannot be counted on to churn out stars. There are not many young players that we know of in any position, except for Zelalem, Adelaide, and Iwobi, with Gnabry and Wellington on loan. There should be at least two or three players in the reserves ready to be called upon in times like this.
