Tottenham are Working to Finally Seal 93-Goal Star Signing

Tottenham Hotspur bounced back and returned to winning ways in the Barclays Premier League by beating Southampton away from home.
The North Londoners have over taken Manchester United to occupy fourth place after another shocking defeat for Louis van Gaal’s men, this time at Old Trafford.
Mauricio Pochettino still needs to improve the quality of his squad and if reports are anything to go by then he is making efforts to sign compatriot Ezequiel Lavezzi from PSG.

Spurs were reportedly linked (Metro) with a move for the former Naploli star in the summer as well and now Metro cite reports in the Spanish media claiming that Tottenham are working to finally get their man with the help of his close friend Erik Lamela.
Lavezzi is a top quality player who can play anywhere in the attack, as a striker, behind the striker or out wide on either flank. He has netted 93 goals (Transfermarkt) in his club career so far but finds himself in a complex scenario at PSG.
Spurs need someone to provide support to Harry Kane and/or replace the England international as a lone striker when he is absent. Lavezzi could be a top signing to do exactly that.
