Tottenham started the season with a defeat against Manchester United. Since then, the North Londoners have been gradually improving and are now real contenders to finish the season in the top four.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is well aware of the fact that Spurs still need to strengthen further to challenge for big prizes and if reports are anything to go by then they are serious about signing a talented Moroccan attacker.
According to reports in the French media (France Football), Tottenham are very interested in signing Sofian Boufal who currently plays for Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille.
The 22-year-old Moroccan star has been likened to former Lille and current Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard (Standard). Last season, Sofiane directly contributed in 16 goals in 34 games for Lille. This season, so far he has scored 4 goals in 12 league games.
Capable of playing anywhere in the attack, the former Angers attacker is surely going to improve Tottenham’s attack. However, luring Boufal is easier said than done as other clubs like Liverpool and PSG are interested in signing him (France Football).
