Tottenham have been in search of a quality out and out striker for quite some time and Brazilian star Alexandre Pato is one of the players linked with a move to White Hart Lane.
Spurs were interested in securing his services in the summer transfer window as well but failed. Now, Metro cite reports in the Italian media claiming that Tottenham are close to finally signing the former AC Milan forward.

The 26-year-old striker is currently playing on loan for Sao Paulo and will return to his parent club Corinthians in January.
