Liverpool’s new manager Jurgen Klopp has been unlucky since joining the club mainly because of the injury concerns.
Summer signing Joe Gomez and in form Danny Ings are out with ACL injuries and star striker Daniel Sturridge is once again on the sidelines much to the despair of the supporters.
The German coach is delighted with the return of Christian Benteke but he is the only quality striker the Reds have at the moment. Origi has been quite average whenever he has been handed the chance to play.
In such a scenario, the Merseysiders need to sign a quality striker. Daily Star cite reports in the French media claiming that Jurgen Klopp is planning to sign a world class star in the form of Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 26-year-old Gabon star is currently the joint leading scorer of the Bundesliga with 13 goals. Moreover, he has already netted 20 times in just 17 appearances this season (Transfermarkt).
The pacy striker will largely improve Liverpool’s strike-force but will surely cost a lot as well.
