Depay Out Again: Man United's Potential Diamond XI vs Man City

Louis Van GaalManchester Uited were dominant against Everton last weekend and deservedly earned three points away from home at Goodison Park.
However, the Red Devils failed to shine in the midweek Champions League game against CSKA Moscow and could only get a draw. Louis van Gaal will be hoping to bounce back against rivals Manchester City when the two teams collide on Sunday.
Marquee summer signings Martial and De Bruyne have done brilliantly for United and City respectively and the duo will be crucial in the all important contest.

The Dutch manager opted to keep Memphis Depay out of the starting XI in the last two games mainly because of his inconsistent performances.
It will not come as a surprise if the former PSV Eindhoven playmaker fails to make the starting squad against Man City. Van Gaal may start three stars in the midfield again.
Here is Man United’s probable diamond XI vs Man City.

No!!!!!!!!! this lineup is not good at all, ah, we expect Herrera to start this game if not we are going to lose. If Depay won’t start fine but for Herrera, he must start with Schneiderlin and Carrick in the midfield with Schweinzteiger introducing later. And even Van Gaal has to display a 4-3-3 formation or better still stick to the 4-2-3-1 with Martial upfront not Rooney. We’ve all witnessed that Rooney can’t play upfront because he’s not that quick as Martial and has to play behind him. We United Fans wish, to see this lineup in a 4-2-3-1or 4-3-3 formation; David De Gea, Mateo Darmian, Daley Blind, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Morgan Schneiderlin, Michael Carrick, Andre Herrera, Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata. Van Gaal should think fast because he’s an experience manager.
