Liverpool and Manchester United started the season brilliantly with 7 points from their respective opening 3 Premier League games.
However, both were humiliated on Match Day 4. The Reds were ripped apart by West Ham United in their own backyard. On the other hand, the Red Devils suffered yet another defeat at the hands of Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
The arch rivals will collide on Saturday night at the Old Trafford where Man United hold stronger cards. Last season, United did the double over Liverpool and will hope to humiliate their rivals once again.
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, PhysioRoom suggest that the Reds currently have five players suffering from injury, however, Joe Allen and captain Jordan Henderson should be fit and available for selection against Man United.
It will not come as a surprise if the skipper is given the nod to start against Man United. Joe Allen is behind Milner, Henderson, Can and Lucas in the midfield pecking order and will probably be left out of the squad.
