4-2-3-1: Strongest Possible Man United XI vs Wolfsburg

Manchester UnitedManchester United defeated bottom of the table Sunderland side to earn top spot in the Premier League. The Red Devils must replicate the domestic form in Europe as well and next up they face German side Wolfsburg.
The Old Trafford club started their UEFA Champions League campaign with a defeat away from home at the hands of Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. United must not drop more points or qualification to KO stage can become really difficult.
As far as Manchester United’s team news is concerned, expect a few changes in the starting XI that played against the Black Cats last weekend. Not to forget, United have to face Arsenal next Sunday at the Emirates in PL.
German international Bastian Schweinsteier should partner Spanish star Ander Herrera in the midfield. Highly unlikely that any change will be made in the defensive setup of the team that featured vs Sunderland.
Here is Man United’s strongest possible XI vs Wolfsburg.

  1. That formation is okay by me but, Depay should be substituted in 65-70mins while Young comes in. Goodluck United

  2. Yusuf Kamara says:

Depay is a little playful with the ball. From what we have seen of him, we believe that the coach should work on him to be a team player. He is a little selfish at times and he is more interested in pursuing a super stardom status at the detriment of the team. This should not be allowed to continue. Young is more direct and purposeful. I know LVG likes Depay but we are saying that if he continues to display selfishness he should be subbed for a better player

  3. Eric says:

LvG should play a strong 4-3-3 formation which includes: De Gea, Valencia, Blind Smalling, Young, Schneiderlin, Schweinteiger, Herrera, Depay, Martial, Rooney. We need a comfortable and first ucl win.

Very strong line up but it is more in defence

Depay must stop putting pressure on himself by forcing to be the next CR7. He [Ronaldo] is special to us though he left us and it’ll be good to see someone bringing back his entertaining skilful football style back to the “theatre of dreams”. Depay has been putting too much pressure on him trying to do that, I saw him last season with PSV Eindhoven, he was their talisman when going forward and he played more like a team player even in a team like PSV Eindhoven. Now let remind him in case he has forgotten that he’s in Old Trafford and here it’s all about team work, that’s how we have been playing from Sir Busby era together with his Babes down to that of our most successful manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The thing is Ronaldo had the opportunity to claim that position at a very young age [18] and was always brilliant with his pull-outs, but he took his time, matured in that position, combined with his own style and end up one of the best in that position for us. So what I am saying is Delay should take his time, then contribute to the team first, find his own style and will surely leave a legacy at the club one day if he leaves or stay till retirement. I hope Van Gaal talks to him to contribute as a team playing and stop his selfishness for now, because we need team work to win this match [Wolfsburg] and others as well.
