Deal Close – How Spurs will Line up with $29m Quality Star

After signing defenders and attackers this summer, Spurs are closing in on luring a top quality midfielder in the form of Belgian international Axel Witsel.
However, with time running out in the transfer window, it will be intriguing to see whether the North Londoners can complete his signing or not.
Nevertheless, reports suggest that Spurs have offered Zenit $29m to bring Witsel to White Hart Lane and the Russian club are satisfied with the mentioned offer.
The 26-year-old versatile midfielder has the talent to play anywhere in midfield and over the years he has proved that he can effectively perform the roles of a DM, CM and AM as well.
Spurs already have more than a few attacking midfield stars. If Axel does join the North Londoners, expect Mauricio Pochettino to utilize him in the center of the park as a creative midfielder. Bentaleb might be the one to start as DM with Witsel in the midfield.
