Arsenal need a quality out and out striker to reinforce their attack. However, if reports are anything to go by then the Gunners are very serious about signing a goal scoring playmaker in the form of Dnymao Kyiv star Andriy Yarmolenko.
Metro cite reports in Spain claiming that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has himself called the Ukrainian international to convince him about moving to the Emirates.
The 25-year-old playmaker is arguably the best attacking star in the Ukrainian Premier Liga. Last season, Yarmolenko directly contributed in no fewer than 40 goals (19 goals, 21 assists) in 43 appearances.
He has started this season in brilliant fashion as well. In just 7 games, Andriy has already scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists.
Over all, the speedy winger has scored 120 senior goals in his career (101 for Dynamo Kyiv and 19 for Ukraine).
Everton are also interested in hiring the services of Yarmolenko but Arsenal may have the upper hand mainly because they offer Champions League football.
